This site has all of the best D-Day videos the internet has all on one page for convenience. So this site is dedicated to all of the American, British, and Canadian forces who took part in Operation Overlord and died so that we could live in peace and prosperity.
It's about time people understand and realized what these young men did for us on that day, and for the rest of the war. They fought for liberty and freedom, two things that most people take for granted today. If it were not for the Allied invasion, these rights would most likely be taken away from us.
Please, take your time to study these videos and realize what these soldiers faced on June 6, 1944.

I am looking for film footage that a Combat Photographer took while in a landing craft with the 29th Div. on the way to Omaha Beach. However, this particular footage may have been erroneously connected to the landing at Utah Beach. My father was in that landing craft and his face shows for about 3 seconds (but that is more than enough time for me!.
I saw it on the Military Channel last year, and no one has been able to help me find it since then. Any suggestions, please

Thank you for this. I totally agree, more people should be seeing this stuff. And most Canadians don't know about the significant role we played during the war.(I'm Canadian)
